Hanging Rock

A relatively easy hike with a stunning view at the top. The summit makes for the perfect picnic spot with friends.

Pilot Mountain

There are various hiking routes to choose from, including a shorter and longer version to the summit of one of North Carolina’s most famous peaks.

Quarry Park

A pleasant walking trail around the old Quarry.

Salem Lake

Another great set of walking trails around Salem lake.
